Settle in folks, I’m going to tell you my story. After too many years of being too sick to take care of myself, I found out my problem was food allergies: gluten, dairy, etc. Actually, none of the doctors I’d seen diagnosed me, but my best friend- in her third year of medical school, tired of seeing me tired- suggested I get tested. She was right- Go Amy! It took around a year to get back to normal. Along the way I learned how to indulge my sweet tooth without risking my health. My friends have been willing taste-testers and they, not having limited diets themselves, hold me to a pretty high standard. I’m proud of the recipes I’ve developed. They don’t taste ‘alternative’, they taste GOOD. I’m really happy I get to help people with food limitations treat themselves. We all deserve some sweetness.
